Those are the ones that really make the difference, just sitting on the floor playing ball with the lad for the first time... Just rolling it back and forth, watching the lad grow by leaps and bounds everyday. Sorry no pictures as of yet but like I said it is the little things...
Watching as he becomes more aware of himself and the world around him is a wonderful thing. Will I remember these little things 20 years from now? IF history and the present say anything...probably not, but maybe if I take the minute or two to write about them it is a permanent record for not just me and you but the lad when he grows up. I can't make sense of how sad I am that nothing like this exists for Raven, I can't even imagine whether or not it would make a difference...I'm just gutted that there is nothing.
Sorry had to take time out to tweet @foxsoccer, cos Barton is on the hate Luis Suarez bandwagon. If you watch his reaction it is frustration, he knew it was a hand ball and never expected the goal to be given, but if the ref gives it what is Suarez supposed to do?
And that is my frame of mind this dreary Sunday (suprising no? pissed off and sad...)
